Hear with your H'ear't

2007 - That's when I gave birth to this poem. I hope it blesses you!

 

HEAR WITH YOUR H'EAR'T

Hush now, let calmness be your strength

in Wisdom.

Even in this deafening noisy

world system!

Now listen with your ear,

in the midst of your h'ear't.

Do you hear it?

It's the sound of Father's beating Heart.

Do you hear it beating in the air,

giving life to His creation everywhere?

Ever so proudly, the courage to dare.

To speak of His Majesty,

"Even throughout the universe!"

They declare!

Do you hear the birds sing

of the Father's Heart of Love,

Serenading and pulsating from heaven above?

They tweetle and whistle:

"Do they know, do they hear,

His Song of Love beating ever so near?"

Open your h'ear't and fine-tune your ear.

For soon it will become crystal clear.

That Father's Heartbeat of Love,

Conquering fear,

Is beating within you,

Right in your 'ear'...

Know that Father God has chosen your H'ear'T

above all else,

to permanently dwell in forever!

A tribute to a wonderful aunt: Wilna Joan Layman:

It's simply amazing when you allow the footsteps of your life to be ordered by the Lord. 

Things had worked out in such a manner for me to be home again 24hrs/day not long after lockdown. That's when my aunt's body began weakening until she eventually couldn't do anything for herself and I was privileged together with my mom to be her mind, hands and feet. It was the natural ageing process. No suffering or pain. This great lady lived a humble yet powerful life. The many good teachings and lessons many a nephew, niece, student etc she had instilled within, abounds greatly! 

A powerful soul, without whom we would not have had a decent home to live in during a time when it was near impossible for a "coloured female" to achieve; i.e. being able to purchase a house in the late 60's and that, in South Africa! 
A radical activist apposing discrimination believing in equality for all! 

A magnificent school teacher who most certainly left her mark in the lives of thousands and most definitely also in mine! 
Not ever having married and being a mother, yet she was a mother to countless children! 
An adorable singer with the most beautiful voice. 
A woman who lived out an exciting life! 
A humble soul having steadfast faith in the Lord. 

On the 22nd of March, as I was alone with her, I recall saying: "Looks like you're leaving on my birthday" Come March 23, it happened... She had passed on, literally at the break of dawn! Words cannot explain the experience I was privileged to witness - That beautiful transition from this life into the glorious next! I have never seen such content, such beautiful peace on the face of someone who has passed on, such as I had seen on hers! Not once have I felt a presence of "death" I truly only experienced peace and the Prince thereof, even in the room she had shared with my mom. 

I call her: Daybreaker, in that she had pushed through the "night" having met the Son, joining Him in breaking through and into her glorious Day! 

Well done Lalla! Well done indeed!

Keep in Step with the Holy Spirit

Gal 5: 16 - 25:

But I say, walk by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desires of the sinful nature.

For the desires of the sinful nature are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the sinful nature. For these are in conflict with each other, so that you cannot do the things you want.

But if you are led by the Spirit you are not under the law.

Now the works of the sinful nature are evident:

Sexual immorality (Adultery), Lustfulness (Fornication, Masturbation):

Humanity’s Achilles Heel! It comes as no surprise that this is mentioned first! God created sex for pleasure and conception - only that it be within a state of holy matrimony between a male and a female. The deception of sex outside this holy institute is manifold! Therefore, the pleasure which humanity experiences is both within the flesh/body (dopamine explosion within the brain etc) and within the mind/soul (joy, happiness etc) - all misplaced! Humanity deceived - hook, line and sinker! The birth of joy/happiness caused by the chemical reactions during immoral sex are on route to a very dark path. This path leads to every other works of the sinful nature listed below. Only by the Holy Spirit can this be overcome. Fasting with prayer is essential!

Impurity (Lasciviousness, Uncleanness):

Proof that cleanliness is next to Godliness? Some of the most twisted people have the tidiest of homes. Cleanliness begins with the washing of one’s mind with God’s Word.

Idolatry, Sorcery (Witchcraft, Paganism):

This comes in the most subtle of ways. Who/what do you and I “idolize” more than we know we shouldn't at all? In the most discrete manner, it leads to witchcraft.

 

Hostilities (Hatred, Vengeance):

Strife (Variance, Heated arguments):

Jealousy (Emulations):

Outbursts of anger (Wrath):

Rivalry (Strife, Contention):

Dissension (Sedition, Disunion):

Divisions (Heresies):

Envy:

Murder:

All of the above are linked and what a dark cocktail of destruction it is! They’re self explanatory as is the last two mentioned by Paul below.

Drunkenness:

Drunken riots (Revelings):

and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 

Allow the words I highlighted in red to keep you in step with the Holy Spirit.

 

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,

gentleness, and self-control; against such things there is no law.

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.

If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

Inherently we know the actions which proceed from the above mentioned fruits of the Spirit. However, actually doing them, is an entirely different thing! There’s a distinct difference between God’s Love and human love.

Human love always has conditions and is rooted in the dark fruits.

God’s Love is simply and beautifully unconditional and pure.

May we persevere with the blessing and strength of YAHWEH by the cleansing of His Word, Yeshua Hamashiach and by Power of His Holy Spirit inheriting His Kingdom!

This, is the true meaning of living by faith.
