A FALLEN ANGEL?

Jesus said that when a king goes to war, he has to 'count the cost' before proceeding. The primary 'cost which he needs to count,' is to KNOW HIS ENEMY by getting as much information on him as possible. How else is he to discover his enemy's weakness in order to STRATEGICALLY defeat him? Well, it's time that we as believers in Christ be as wise as the king in Jesus' illustration!
It is for this reason that I am compelled by the Lord to -
EXPOSE OUR ENEMY – SATAN!
So who is this enemy of ours? Where does he come from? Does he have a purpose? If so, what is the purpose for his existence?
To begin, God by his Son Jesus, defeated the enemy of our souls by his death, resurrection, ascension into heaven and the pouring out of his Holy Spirit of promise. His death and resurrection alone, will not suffice because that would be incomplete. You must understand that satan has been given power to raise the dead as is documented in the book of Revelation.
I don't mean to go on a rabbit-trail, but that's why we need to discern whether the miracles we see in these times are from God or satan! We are warned in the epistles that satan will deceive the very elect! One of my prayers to God has always been for him to reveal to me when I am deceived by that 'sly serpent,' and God has been faithful in doing so!
It was VITALLY IMPORTANT for Jesus to ascend into heaven and show himself to his Father after having accomplished ALL that God has sent him out to do! It was only after the Father and Son 'meeting' in heaven that the Holy Spirit of promise was sent to earth. It is crucial to understand that God by his Free Will, has set a Divine Order in place which he perfectly follows.
The reason for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, is to convict the world of sin and reveal the love, forgiveness and righteousness of God so that they may come to the realization of the TRUTH –
JESUS THE LAMB WHO TOOK AWAY THE SINS OF THE WORLD AND WHO RECONCILED IT (THE WORLD), BACK TO GOD! HALLELUJAH!
Let's look at some scriptures which reveals crucial truths about our enemy:
You are of the Devil as father, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and did not abide in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it. Jn 8:44 M.K.J.V.
I shall no longer speak many things with you, for the ruler of this world comes, and he has nothing in Me. Jn 14:30 M.K.J.V.
Jesus makes it very clear that FROM THE BEGINNING, satan was a murderer which is OBVIOUSLY the reason why there CANNOT BE ANY TRUTH IN HIM! In other words, he was NEVER, EVER perfect and/or in right-standing with God! Let that soak in as you meditate on that TRUTH.
I know that the majority of Christians believe that satan was once 'Lucifer' who was first a perfect angel who then turned evil. Well, so did I - until God came and shone His Blazing Light of His TRUTH on that 'darkness,' Hallelujah! In the scripture where 'Lucifer' is mentioned, (found in Old King James), in the fourth verse of Isaiah chapter 14, it EXPLICITLY documents that God is speaking to the king of Babylon! In verse 21, God says to 'Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers.' Now how is it that satan has human children? God is not talking spiritually in this chapter; he is talking about a very real situation! The word 'Lucifer' is not to be written with a capital 'L.' This is because it is NOT a name but rather a word describing something - a light. Satan is total darkness and just as TRUTH is LIGHT, so is there also NO LIGHT IN HIM! Jesus is the ONLY ONE who is the LIGHT of all creation and that is the reason why He said that SATAN HAS NOTHING IN JESUS! THERE NEVER EVER WAS ANY TRUTH/LIGHT IN SATAN EVEN FROM THE DAY THAT HE WAS FORMED!
By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed (vigorously carved out), the crooked (fleeing, fugitive), serpent. Job 26:13 K.J.V.
It was God who formed (vigorously carved out) the crooked (fleeing, fugitive) serpent! God did this by taking ALL the knowledge of 'evil' which is darkness (which causes death), and formed satan. Do you actually think satan is capable of creating anything at all on his own? Satan is no God!
And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: Gen 3:22a K.J.V.
God is the One who in the beginning before creation, had ALL the knowledge of evil. Satan wasn't the one who discovered evil by himself because he is NOT a God possessing FREE WILL, remember? – That's for those who read my FREE WILL installment.
God 'EMPTIED' himself of ALL the knowledge of evil when forming satan. Have you taken note that God has NOT formed satan by His Spirit like he did the heavens and everything in it? That information is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! God formed satan with his hand, which when spiritually discerned, reveals that he was formed in a VERY PECULIAR AND UNIQUE MANNER. Here is something to think on: Gods' angels were created by his Spirit:
But to which of the angels, did He say at any time, "Sit on My right hand until I make Your enemies Your footstool?"
Are they (angels), not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for those who shall be heirs of salvation?
So if satan was an 'arch-angel' as it's commonly preached, then how are we to understand God's Word where it clearly reveals that satan was NOT created by God's Spirit? He is NOT and neither will he EVER will be an arch-angel! He was the most STRANGEST, HIDEOUS, WICKED THING EVER FORMED because his very substance is the knowledge of ALL EVIL which God emptied himself of! So what does it mean when the scriptures speak of a 'wicked spirit?' It is speaking of God's angels which satan has deceived! These are the 'fallen angels' which became demons under satan's command and he (satan), cunningly uses them because they are spirits who were created by God's Spirit and therefore has UNIQUE ABILITIES! Satan who of course knows this, is quite 'chuffed' with himself about his 'spoil' which he 'cunningly captured' from God! But what satan is ignorant about, is that God had created him for that VERY PURPOSE! Look at this scripture which is by most misunderstood:
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to 'hell' (The Greek word here is TARTARUS), and delivered them into chains of darkness to be reserved unto judgment.
Obviously those angels who are now demons are not 'locked up' in such a way that they are not able to roam around! We know by scripture that demons are on the loose and that they are looking for every opportunity to possess a soul. So what has God really done to them in the above scripture? God HANDED them over to the dark prince satan! They are 'chained' to his every command and this is the punishment that God has given them!
Let me give an illustration:
In the Star Wars trilogy, there is an evil emperor which is a 'Sith lord' (satan). He discovers a boy who possesses great power, even greater than the leader of the good side of the force and successfully deceives him to be his 'right-hand-man' on the dark side! This emperor also cunningly gets millions of troopers to be under his apprentice, Darth Vader's (the boy whom the emperor deceived), command! But here's the thing: Darth Vader has been so 'BLINDED' by the emperor that he doesn't realize that he is more powerful than his master – the evil emperor! This is a near-perfect description of satan's strategy, and we as the True Sons of God are to wake up to it already! God has been speaking through many authors, producers and directors but most have not perceived! Don't be surprised to find out that satan deceived high ranking angels who has equal or even more power than the chief angels Michael and Gabriel! Remember in Daniel chapter 10 where the angel Gabriel struggled with 'the prince of Persia?' He needed to get help from one of the chief angels, Michael to fight him off! This prince of Persia was once an angel who become a demon under satan's command! Persia of course is a country and this demon was put in charge by satan over that specific area.
Parents, beware of the game called 'Prince of Persia!' That demon has power over it and therefore has 'rights' to have access to your children playing it!
When I got myself a Motorola V360, it had this 'very' game on it which I deleted! This game has since 'evolved' and can be played on any PC, Playstation, etc. So parents and people, beware!
Well then, all of that was said to prove that satan himself cannot therefore be an angel. He uses these powerful angels/demons to his disposal and they know it but there is nothing that they can do about it! They will have to wait for God's judgment; And are many going to be surprised on the outcome of it in that day! The answer to that is 'hidden' in what I share in my blog!
Just to clear up something: Even though the origin of the knowledge of evil resided with God, God PERFECTLY chooses NOT to be evil. This is one of the attributes which renders God as being THE ALMIGHTY LIVING GOD! You see, it was in that 'ancient of day' when God had not even started on his creation yet, that he PERFECTLY JUDGED EVIL WITHIN HIMSELF! How did God do this? He did it by the BRIGHTNESS OF HIS KNOWLEDGE OF TRUTH WHICH IS LIGHT! Darkness brings forth death. It's like a very strong acid which eats anything in it's path, even dining on itself! That's the reason why it's end is death, nothingness; especially when the LIGHT OF THE TRUTH – JESUS, SHINES ON IT!
When the morning light appears in it's brightness, the darkness of the night dissipates! This is what will happen to satan when he is finally cast into the lake of fire – Jesus, the bright shining Light! The reason is because there is no 'life' substance in satan. All which are cast into the lake of fire which were created by God's Spirit, will have the SUBSTANCE which resides within them revealed, and it will come forth! Jesus the True Light (lake of fire), will incinerate the darkness which attached itself to them and shine on the substance which was embedded in them at the time of their creation. This will bring forth the NEW BIRTH of those very souls, including the New Heaven and Earth which where ALL created by God's Spirit who in turn has put that 'substance' in them in the day of their creation! Do you know what that 'substance' is? It's a person and His Name is Jesus, the Living Word of God who is the very Spirit which made man into a LIVING SOUL, but by his death, resurrection, ascension and pouring out of his Spirit, has QUICKENED OUR SPIRITS! HALLELUJAH! Remember what Hebrews 11:1 says?
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Jesus is 'that' very substance and he is also our great hope of glory in the resurrection of our NEW LIFE! This to us is our evidence which we don't see with our physical eyes but rather which we spiritually perceive. In turn, this then becomes the message of reconciliation WITHIN US to preach to ALL the world that God does NOT hold their trespasses against them anymore and has reconciled them back to Himself! (2Cor. 5: 19)
That is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of
reconciliation.
It would be of GREAT VALUE to do a deep and thorough meditation in the Lord on 2Cor.5:17-21 along with the definition of reconciliation which I have stipulated in my 'Free Will' installment.
GOD'S DESTROYER:
Behold, I have created the smith who blows the coals in the fire, and who brings out a tool for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. Is 54:16 M.K.J.V.
Read that passage of scripture again having your spiritual perception tuned all the way up! This verse is speaking of God having created satan with a specific purpose in mind. I can't help but to use 'Agent Smith' who is an evil, menacing character in The Matrix Trilogy movies, as an example of 'the 'smith' who blows the coals in the fire!' And that is exactly what satan has been created to do! But let me enrich your understanding on this verse. The coals are ALL sin-bound humanity. Satan utterly hates Jesus just as he also hates us! Now, as an angry flame-breathing dragon, satan blows on us (black sin-stained coals), but only to reveal Christ who at this time is AFLAMED because he is the Word of God which is as fire!
Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; Jer 23:29a
Then one of the seraphs (angels), flew to me, having a live coal in his hand, snatched with tongs from the altar.
And he laid it on my mouth and said, Lo, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged. Is 6:6-7
I am going to try my best to share the 'intricate' revelation of these verses.
The altar is a place of sacrifice, the type of which is death. Adam – mankind, sinned and the wages thereof is death – sacrificed at the altar. This altar is Jesus the breathe/spirit who caused us to become a living soul and who resides within us. Hence the altar is within us! In verse 6, the angel takes a live coal from the obvious 'aflamed' altar (Jesus). The coal represents man having being purged by Jesus - the altar, fire, lake of fire. That is the reason why the angel says to Isaiah that his iniquity is taken away and his sin purged, and as we all know, Jesus Christ (the altar), is the only One who has taken away the sins of the world! But there is a hidden prophecy in this spiritual experience and it is that THE SINS OF THE ENTIRE HUMAN RACE IS PARDONED!
Comfort, O comfort my people, says your God.
Speak lovingly to the heart of Jerusalem, and cry to her that her warfare is done, that her iniquity is pardoned; for she has received of Jehovah's hand double for all her sins. Is 40:1-2
You may be saying: “Well, God is speaking only of the Jews here.” Isn't it written that salvation is of the Jews? Do you not know that Jesus' name is Yeheshua which means SALVATION OF GOD? Have you not read that Jesus reconciled the world, all humanity, back to God and that their trespasses are NOT held against them any longer? Do you know what Isaiah's name means? His name in Hebrew is Yshayah Yshayahu which means, get this:
GOD HAS SAVED!
Back to the smith blowing on the coal:
Take a guess who blows on the coal (sin-stain humans), and unknowingly kindles the fire/Jesus; It's satan!
But how did mankind become these blackened sin-stained coals? The last part of the verse states that God created the waster to destroy. The word waster was translated from the Hebrew word – 'shakath' which means:
To DECAY, RUIN, SPOIL, TO TEMPT; and check this out – TO CORRUPT!
The word destroy was translated from the Hebrew word – 'chabal' which means:
To BRING TRAVAIL, to DECEIVE, PERVERT, TO CAUSE ONE TO SIN! Once again check this out – TO BIND AND WIND TIGHTLY! Isn't that exactly what a snake/serpent does? Let's read through that scripture one more time with it's full meaning:
Behold, I have created the smith, satan, who blows the coals, sin-stained humanity, in the fire, Jesus the Living Word, and who brings out a tool for his work; and I have created the waster, the tempter, corrupter, to destroy, bring travail, deceive, wind around mankind tightly and cause them to sin.
This is the very reason why I continue to stress out that it is CRUCIAL to have a HEBREW/GREEK CONCORDANCE and put it to good use! Most importantly, it is the Holy Spirit whom God has sent which we must adhere to!
All this clearly reveals that God deliberately formed satan for the purpose of deceiving humanity into sining and thereby causing our death! This being shockingly true, why has God WILLED this?
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. Is 55:9
YET:
But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God. 1Cor 2:10
BIRTH, DEATH, AGE-ABIDING NEW LIFE!
In the beginning God created and brought to birth his creation, but this was NOT his final vision and destination for it. God is an age-abiding God and wants his creation to live through all the coming ages, with Him! Just as an interlude; I prefer to use the term AGE-ABIDING NEW LIFE as opposed to eternity and immortality. The reason for this is that God's Word makes it clear that there will be AGES which we will be experiencing with our Lord. Eternity sounds awfully boring in that it gives the picture of one heck of a long period! I am so thankful that God has spoken of 'ages' which sounds much more exciting!
Back God's final vision:
God knows that in order for his 'end goal' to be accomplished, there needs to be a death. Enter satan, (the waster, destroyer and death bringer!); The one God formed with ALL the knowledge of evil! Remember Romans 9:17:
For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, "Even for this same purpose I have raised you up, that I might show My power in you, and that My name might be declared throughout all the earth."
Even though God was speaking to Pharaoh, focus on God's PURPOSE. It's the very same purpose as to why God formed satan which is to show God's Power in the midst of satan's evil activity (as in the case with Pharaoh), and that God's Name may be declared throughout all the earth! Do you catch that? Now think on the dark situations in your life and others, and start seeing God's purpose through satan's evil activity! Remember what Jesus admonished us in Matthew 10:16?
Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be as wise as serpents and as harmless as doves.
Hopefully, now that you understand that God purposely formed satan for God's glory, also now understand that you should never unwisely speak to satan. Jude teaches us:
But Michael, the archangel, when contending with the Devil, he argued about the body of Moses, he dared not bring a judgment of blasphemy, but said, Let the Lord rebuke you!
It is the Lord ALONE who has the power to successfully rebuke satan! This is our Wisdom in perfectly resisting satan! When we say 'the Lord rebuke you satan,' he has no option but to FLEE! HALLELUJAH!
When we speak forth the Word of God Which is Light, the inflictions which satan has caused, dissolves in the brightness thereof! All of Jesus' healings was a foreshadowing of the AGE-ABIDING NEW LIFE to come, and that is what we are prophesying too when we also like Jesus, work signs and wonders! Satan has an end and the rest of all of humanity including the heavens and the earth have a destiny. This destiny is an AGE-ABIDING NEW LIFE!
CHRIST THE WORD WAS BORN FLESH -
Pointing to our human BIRTH.
CHRIST DIED -
Indicating our inevitable DEATH. (via God's formation of satan who then tempts to bring forth sin of which the wages thereof is death.)
CHRIST ROSE AGAIN TO GLORY -
Indicating all of the heavens and the earth with EVERYTHING in them, which includes us, to be RISEN IN GLORY! It is this resurrection which radiates Christ the Light which will bring the final judgment upon that dark prince, satan who will be DISSOLVED:
IN THE LIGHT OF OUR GLORY -
CHRIST JESUS!!
